Graphic Design Group 1 ( National Identification )

If you have ever been a waitress, bouncer, or even a store clerk checking ID's is part of your job and can be a HUGE pain in the ass. Every state has a different ID, the birthplace is all over the place and is very confusing. I myself checked ID's at a bar in downtown St. Augustine and ALWAYS had a problem determining if someones ID from another state was real or not! I have no clue what some state's ID's look at and with states often changing their design, it is hard to tell what is real or not. In 2010 I received my new ID from Georgia. When I went out in Key West, I was not aloud in some of the bars because they thought my NEW ID was fake! And I am 22 and could pass for my late 20s. So what is a solution to this problem? A national ID system. This would overtake the Drivers License and simply have all your information on it, through scanning technologies. Of course it would have IN CLEAR AS DAY TEXT your birth date, ID number, name and ext. This would also have your driving record and such too in the case that you are pulled over or if a law enforcer needed to know information about you. Each state would be represented with the name of the state and their flag. Also to stay with modern technology the design would be a clear card just because it looks amazing and is where technology is going. I have started a few logo's and card designs. I also have to design the packaging for when a citizen would receive their ID in the mail. Also, gotta explain it better but that is what copy writers are for!
